I’m back.

After meeting up with my dear friend from Perfectly Imperfect at 23, and harassing her about not blogging, only to find out that she has been, I have decided that I want to keep up with this silly blog. I find that I have so much thought built up in my head that maybe splurging it onto paper will be helpful.

So an update on life:

First year of grad school is over. One year left. After an amazing late night conversation with my amazing Mother, who I refer to as my rock, I have come to the conclusion that I don’t always have to be in a relationship to be happy. I have a new position at work and I absolutely love it. I can for the first time in a long time leave at the end of the day and not feel like I am taking work home with me. Summer classes start next week...yuck! My little brother graduated from college. My hair is growing back and I can’t believe it has been a year. My placement for grad school was obnoxious but I fell in love with the Teen Group I helped facilitate...I go back whenever I can.

New outfit :)

As I was browsing the Internet this morning I came upon a wonderful story about the Morehead Women's Head Basketball Coach. In an effort to attract attention any way he can he has decided to wear fantastically ridiculous outfits. He is awesome. I know my brother, the fashion designer guru, will probably frown upon his choices, I am a huge fan. I have visited the website where his clothing was sent from and designed my own personal outfit. :) Below you will find what the coach wore and what my attire for my first day of my professional career, in a few years ;), will be...and don't forget the tie :)

I have decided that it is finally time for me to do this on my own. I feel like I am always writing about life and how I feel about thing...mostly bitching about how stupid people are and how ridiculous I think things can be...but none the less, I am just gonna do this.

So I welcome you to "Did you get the Memo?!?!?!" You may be asking yourself, what a curious title. There is a story behind it. As humans, we are always fucking up some aspect of our lives and upper management finds a need to call us out on it so they give us the dreaded "Memo." So this is my "Memo" to the world and to tell it how stupid I think things are sometimes and to share with it my feelings about just random shit. I am blunt, honest, rude, and will probably offend people at times. I am not going to apologize for how I feel because to tell you the truth, I have been apologizing for far too long.

So I hope that you decide to follow this outrageous blog because it will be an adventure into a mind that well isn't like any other you have experienced. It will be a thrill ride like none you can find at an amusement park. Sometimes it will be depressing, because like gets like that sometimes. Most of the time it will make you laugh, because I love to make people laugh. I hope that you enjoy the time you spend on this page. Feel free to comment, respond, and just say hello.
